SDL Group Director to take part in charity challenge for The Donna Louise

28th November 2017

SDL Group’s Director of PRS, Paul Staley, is gearing himself up for a mammoth charity challenge in 2018. In aid of the Donna Louise, Paul will be joining a team of celebrities and other local business leaders to travel from Paris to London, whether that be by bike, boat or foot in the Tower to Tower challenge. The route will be covered in three stages, over road, sea and country lanes between May 28th and 31stnext year. The Donna Louise Children’s Hospice is a registered children’s charity, caring and supporting children with life-limiting conditions and their families across Cheshire and Staffordshire. Over the past few years, Paul has taken part in many different activities to help SDL Group raise over £150,000 for Donna Louise. He ran the London Marathon in 2014 in aid of the hospice, finding it a ‘gruelling but fantastic experience’ and is sure that the Tower to Tower will be just as tough – if not more! Currently easing himself back into training, Paul is attending weekly spin and cave classes, while also working with a personal trainer, with his goal currently focusing on building his strength, before moving onto increasing his stamina – two traits which will be hugely important to make the challenge and success! Paul has set up a donation page, which can be found here and is hoping to raise £20,000. This will be a part of the Group’s wider goal of raising £150,000 over the course of 2018. Everyone at SDL Group wishes Paul and the whole Tower to Tower team the best of luck! Learn more about Donna Louise Children’s Hospice at
